T-01 Industrial Procedure Writing PowerPoint File (.ppsx)

The downloadable PowerPoint Show file (.ppsx extension) contains only the slide-show component of the master PowerPoint file.

The sections of the presentation are listed in the Outline slide (Slide 2), together with the numbers of the initial section slides.  With the exception of the Workbook, each section includes subsections covering Content, Key Concepts (summaries of the Content), and a Quiz.  A detailed Table of Contents of the PowerPoint presentation can be found in T-02 Supplemental Notes.

Slide 232 references an external site.  Consequently, a message typically appears when T-01 is opened, asking the user to select from options to

  • protect their system from unknown content, or
  • enable external content.

The site referenced by Slide 232 -- the University of Colorado -- is safe to access.  However, for security purposes, the user may prefer to initiate a unique Web session to open the URL address referenced in the slide.

To go to a specific slide: click Control-S to display a pop-up list of slide numbers, and then

  • click the Go To button at the bottom of the pop-up to display the slide.

Note: The Up/Down arrows and Page Up/Down keys are used to activate the animation that is built into the Quizzes.  Within a Quiz slide, clicking the Down arrow or Page Down key will display the answer to the currently-displayed question.  Clicking the Up arrow or Page Up key will remove the currently-displayed answer.
